Cloudy skies, rains over Bicol, provinces of Samar due to northeast monsoon


The northeast monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Bicol Region and the provinces of northern Samar, eastern Samar and Samar will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Luzon and Visayas will be moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
