PAGASA: Cloudy skies, light rains over Metro Manila, parts of Luzon

Bicol Region and Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the frontal system, PAGASA said Tuesday.

In its daily weather bulletin, PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The Northeast Monsoon will also bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will also prevail over Mindanao due to the trough of a low pressure area.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA added.

Further, Luzon and Visayas will have moderate to strong wind and moderate to rough coastal water conditions, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will prevail over Mindanao.—LDF, GMA News
