Cloudy skies, rains over Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon due to the northeast monsoon


The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers over parts of Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Caraga and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of Luzon, Visayas, and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of Mindanao will experience light to moderate moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
