Cloudy skies, scattered rains to prevail over parts of Philippines due to easterlies, Amihan
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over parts of Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, and Northern Mindanao due to easterlies, weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday.
PAGASA warned residents in these areas of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains, it said in its 24-hour weather forecast.
Cagayan and Apayao will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.
Ilocos Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the wind speed forecast for Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao is moderate to strong while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
