Cloudy skies, rains over Visayas, Caraga, NorMin, Zamboanga due to the shear line
The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over the Visayas while the northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Visayas, Caraga, northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Quezon and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorm/easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas is moderate to strong and moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
