Cloudy skies, scattered rains expected over Aurora, north Quezon due to shear line
The shear line on Wednesday will be affecting the eastern section of central Luzon while the northeast monsoon will be affecting northern Luzon and the rest of central Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Aurora and the northern portion of Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, and the rest of central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The eastern section of central and southern Luzon, of Visayas, and of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
