Some parts of Mindanao and Palawan cloudy with rain showers
The trough of a low pressure-area (LPA) and the Easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao and the southern portion of Palawan, PAGASA said Sunday.
In its daily weather bulletin, PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
Cloudy skies with rains will prevail over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, and Aurora due to the Northeast Monsoon.
Flash floods or landslides are also possible due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains, PAGASA added.
The Northeast Monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region and Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies.
Flash floods or landslides may also occur during severe thunderstorms.
Further, moderate to strong wind and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and the eastern section of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters. —LBG, GMA News
