Easterlies, localized thunderstorms to bring rain across parts of Philippines

The easterlies and localized thunderstorms will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over parts of the country, PAGASA reported on Thursday.

Based on the weather bureau’s 4 p.m. forecast, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may occur, according to PAGASA.

Meanwhile, both wind speed forecast and coastal water conditions in Northern Luzon will be moderate.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving east to northeast, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.

The sun is set to rise at 6:02 a.m. on Friday. — Richa Noriega/BM, GMA News
