Northeasterly surface windflow to bring light rains over Batanes – PAGASA

The northeasterly surface windflow is set to bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes, weather bureau PAGASA said on Saturday.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies or localized thunderstorms, according to PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may also occur, it added.

Meanwhile, Northern and Central Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speeds moving northeast to east while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
