ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains in southern Mindanao —PAGASA

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over parts of southern Mindanao, while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country, the state weather bureau PAGASA said on Friday.

Based on PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, Caraga, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the wind speed forecast in Northern and Central Luzon will be light to moderate moving east to southeast while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
