ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Caraga, SOCCSKSARGEN, Davao


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over southern Mindanao while the easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Caraga, SOCCSKSARGEN, and the Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to easterlies Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to Variable direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.

Sunrise will be at 5:56 a.m. and the sun will set by 6:08 p.m. -- BAP, GMA News
