LPA to bring rain, cloudy skies over Vis-Min, Palawan –PAGASA
A low-pressure area embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan, Eastern and Central Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA said Sunday.
In its 4 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said the LPA was spotted 60 km east-northeast of Davao City.
However, the weather bureau said the chance of the LPA becoming a tropical depression is very low.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA said possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Light to moderate southeast wind blowing northeast prevails over northern Luzon, causing slight to moderate coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate east-to-northeast wind flow, causing slight to moderate coastal waters.
Maximum temperature is 33.4 °C at 3 p.m. and the minimum temperature is 25.2 °C at 5:15 p.m., according to PAGASA. —LBG, GMA News
