PAGASA: Easterlies to affect eastern section of country

The easterlies will affect the eastern section of the country, according to weather bureau PAGASA on Wednesday.

Based on PAGASA’s 4 p.m. public weather forecast, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms mostly in the eastern section of the country due to easterlies.

People should be prepared for flash floods or landslides if severe thunderstorms occur, it said.

The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving east, while coastal water conditions will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speeds moving east to northeast, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate. — Richa Noriega/VBL, GMA News
