The easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country while the northeasterly surface windflow will be affecting extreme northern Luzon, PAGASA reported early this morning.

Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with possible floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeasterly surface windflow with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the eastern section due to easterlies/localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal  waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
