Shear line to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over eastern section of Northern Luzon


The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over the eastern section of Northern Luzon, while the easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, according to weather bureau PAGASA on Saturday.

Based on PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, and Mountain Province will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers, with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cloudy skies will prevail over Eastern Visayas and Caraga, with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast is moderate to strong moving northeast, while coastal water conditions will be moderate to rough. — Richa Noriega/VBL, GMA News
