Cloudy skies, scattered rain to prevail across the country –PAGASA
Localized thunderstorms would bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers across the country, the state weather bureau PAGASA said Friday.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, PAGASA reported Metro Manila and the rest of the country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
The trough of Typhoon Malakas (formerly “Basyang”) would also continue affecting the eastern section of Mindanao.
The public was meanwhile advised to be on guard against flash floods and landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds would prevail over Northern Luzon where moderate to rough seas could be expected. The rest of the country would experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters.
Temperatures in Metro Manila dropped to a low of 25.5 degrees celsius at 5:40 a.m., then rose to a high of 34 degrees at 3 p.m. — DVM, GMA News
