ITCZ to affect parts of Palawan, Mindanao —PAGASA

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting parts of Palawan and Mindanao, the weather bureau PAGASA said on Friday.

Based on PAGASA’s 4 p.m. public weather forecast, Palawan, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the wind speed forecast for the rest of the country will be light to moderate moving east to southeast while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.—Richa Noriega/LDF, GMA News
