LPA to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Davao region
At 3 a.m. on Wednesday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 185 kilometers east of General Santos City as the frontal system will be affecting areas within extreme northern Luzon, PAGASA reported.
Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the frontal system with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Extreme northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Visayas and the rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be light to moderate.
Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
