Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Caraga, Davao


The frontal system will be affecting extreme northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Caraga and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with rains due to the frontal system with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the southeast to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Visayas and the rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
