ITCZ will bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is light to moderate moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
