Southwest Monsoon to bring scattered rain showers over Palawan, Mindoro provinces
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect the western section of Luzon on Monday, and will bring scattered rain showers over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and Oriental Mindoro, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
These areas will also have cloudy skies and thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may result during times of moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
During severe thunderstorms, these areas may also have flash floods or landslides.
Coastal waters will be moderate in the seaboards of the western section and extreme Northern Luzon.
Meanwhile, coastal waters in the rest of the country will be slight to moderate.
