PAGASA: Ridge of high pressure area to affect eastern section of Luzon

The ridge of high pressure area will affect the eastern section of Luzon, according to the weather bureau PAGASA on Saturday.

Based on its 4 p.m. weather forecast, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA also warned of the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the whole country will be light to moderate, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
