Habagat to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan


At 3 a.m. on Friday, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 1,325 kilometers east of Central Luzon as the southwest monsoon continues to affect the western sections of northern and central Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the southwest monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Luzon and Visayas is light to moderate moving in the southwest to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
