Easterlies to bring scattered rains over Aurora, Isabela


The easterlies will be affecting the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Aurora and Isabela will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms  brought about by the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Caraga, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, ITCZ, and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Northern and Central Luzon is light to moderate moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
