Shear line, ITCZ to bring rains across country
The shear line and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring rain showers across the country, according to PAGASA.
Batanes and Cagayan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the shear line, the weather bureau said in its 24-hour forecast issued at 4 p.m.
The Bicol Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Quezon, Samar, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, southern portion of Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Forecast wind speed for extreme Northern Luzon is strong with rough coastal water conditions.
Moderate to strong wind speeds will prevail over the rest of Northern Luzon, along with moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
For the rest of the country, the forecast wind speeds are light to moderate, accompanied by slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
