ITCZ to affect Palawan, southern portion of Mindanao

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will continue to cause rain showers over Palawan and the southern portion of Mindanao, weather bureau PAGASA said Tuesday. 

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast for Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms, the agency said in its 4 p.m. weather bulletin.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides in the affected areas. 
 
Forecast winds and coastal water conditions over extreme northern Luzon will be moderate, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions may be experienced over the rest of the country. — Sundy Locus/VBL, GMA Integrated News
