At 3 a.m. on Thursday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 245 kilometers east Southeast of Davao City as the northeast monsoon will continue to affect Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Visayas, Mindanao, Romblon, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Bicol Region, Aurora, Laguna, Quezon, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains also due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.

Luzon, Visayas, and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The wind speed forecast for the rest of Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the southeast to northeast direction while coastal waters remain slight to moderate.
