LPA trough, localized thunderstorms to bring rain over parts of the country


The trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) and localized thunderstorms will bring cloudy skies, with rain showers and thunderstorms over parts of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, and BARMM will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern and Central Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
