LPA trough to continue to affect Mindanao —PAGASA

The trough of the low-pressure area (LPA) continues to affect Mindanao and will spur rains across a large swath of the country on Tuesday, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Based on its 24-hour public forecast, PAGASA said the trough of the LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, and BARMM.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

The weather bureau warned the public against rain-induced flash floods and landslides in the affected areas, especially during severe thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds and coastal water conditions will continue to prevail over the country.

The highest temperature was 32.7°C at 2 p.m. while the lowest was 24.4°C at 6 a.m.

Sunrise will be at 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
