The Ridge of High-Pressure Area (HPA) will be extending over Northern Luzon, state weather bureau PAGASA said Friday.
In its 4 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said the National Capital Region (NCR) and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the weather system.
PAGASA warned of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the northeast, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong windspeed moving northeast direction while the coastal waters will be moderate to strong.
Likewise, the weather bureau said the rest of the country will have light to moderate windspeed moving northeast to the northwest, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
