Frontal system, southwesterly windflow to bring rains over parts of Luzon

A frontal system and southwesterly windflow will bring rains over parts of Luzon on Wednesday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with rains due to the frontal system. Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Zambales and Bataan may expect cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the southwesterly windflow. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.

The rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwesterly windflow and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may result due to severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
