ITCZ, localized thunderstorms to bring rains across Philippines
State weather bureau PAGASA said on Thursday that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao and the localized thunderstorms will bring rains across the Philippines.
In its 24-hour public forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao due to the ITCZ.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned the public against possible flash floods or landslides in the affected areas.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions are forecast in the country.
