ITCZ to dump rain over Palawan, parts of Visayas, Mindanao


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring cloudy skies, dump rain over Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA.

Palawan, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains,

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. PAGASA added that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Palawan and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northwest to west while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The wind speed forecast for the Visayas will be light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters can become slight to moderate coastal waters.
