LPA, Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rains across PH

The entire country will experience cloudy skies with rain showers due to a low pressure area and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday.

At 3 p.m., the LPA was spotted 180 kilometers northeast of Virac, Catanduanes, or 400 km east of Infanta, Quezon.

Cagayan Valley, Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, the Bicol Region, Visayas, and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast for the rest of Luzon.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods and landslides caused by rains.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions will prevail across the country. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
