LPA, southwest monsoon to cause rains in parts of Luzon
The low-pressure area southwest of Baler and the southwest monsoon will continue to bring rains over parts of the country.
According to its 4 p.m. forecast, PAGASA said rains caused by the LPA and the monsoon are expected in Metro Manila, Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA.
Occasional rains due to the southwest monsoon will be experienced in Bicol and Western Visayas, while cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will occur in Central and Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga, Northern Peninsula, BARMM, and SOCCSKSARGEN.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will happen in Caraga and Davao.
The aforementioned areas may experience possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered to heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters are to be expected.
