PAGASA: Habagat affects Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao


Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will continue to experience the effects of the Southwest Monsoon, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday afternoon.

The state weather bureau said Visayas, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and BARMM will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the monsoon.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon, as well as localized thunderstorms.

As a result of the weather, possible flooding or landslides may be experienced in certain areas in the country.

Luzon will be experiencing moderate winds with moderate coastal waters for the day, while Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
