Northeast winds, shear line to bring scattered rains over parts of Luzon

The northeasterly windflow and shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over parts of Northern and Central Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Quezon, Rizal, Laguna and Camarines Norte will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeasterly windflow with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the northeasterly windflow and localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

Northern and Central Luzon residents will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise will be at 5:48 a.m., sunset at 5:34 p.m. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
