Shear line to bring scattered rain over Visayas, Mindanao areas
A shear line would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao, according to PAGASA’s Sunday afternoon forecast.
The Northeast Monsoon would meanwhile bring cloudy skies and light rain over the Cordillera Administrative Region, mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon.
The rest of Mindanao would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in several areas due to said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have strong winds with rough waters, while the rest of the country may experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.
