Shear line to bring scattered rains over Caraga, Davao, Northern Mindanao

The shear line will bring scattered rains over the eastern section of Mindanao while the northeast monsoon (amihan) will bring cloudy skies and rains over Luzon and the Visayas, PAGASA reported.

Caraga, Davao Region, and Northern Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila, the Visayas, and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the northern and eastern sections of the country is strong moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be rough.

The rest of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
