Cloudy skies with rains over parts of Mindanao due to easterlies

Parts of Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with rain showers due to the easterlies, according to PAGASA's 24-hour weather forecast.

In a report on Tuesday afternoon, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may occur in the Davao Region, Soccsksargen, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur because of the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

The Northeast Monsoon will be present over Batanes, with the province expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Meanwhile, Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of the country may expect moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters, while the rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:23 a.m. on Wednesday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
