Easterlies to bring rain showers in parts of Visayas, Mindanao
The easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country on Wednesday, PAGASA reported.
The Davao Region, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Southern Leyte, and Bohol will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may possibly result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Batanes will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.
The wind speed forecast for extreme northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving eastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
