Easterlies to bring rains in parts of PH

The eastern section of the Philippines will have cloudy skies and scattered rain showers caused by easterlies, according to PAGASA.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Davao Region, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Southern Leyte, and Bohol.

Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Batanes.

In Metro Manila, the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms may cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.

Extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas while the rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:23 a.m. on Thursday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
