Gray skies, isolated rains expected over parts of PH due to amihan, easterlies
The Northeast Monsoon is affecting parts of Extreme Northern Luzon, while the rest of the country is affected by the easterlies.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon, Batanes and Babuyan Islands may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains because of the Northeast Monsoon.
The combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Possible flash floods and landslides may occur as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, Northern Luzon is expected to have moderate to strong winds with moderate seas.
The forecast for the rest of the country is light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
