Amihan, easterlies to bring isolated rains over parts of PH
The northeast monsoon (amihan) will be affecting Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Batanes and Cagayan will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
