Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
The northeast monsoon (amihan) will be affecting Northern and Central Luzon while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country on Saturday, PAGASA reported.
Caraga, Eastern Samar, Leyte, and Southern Leyte will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast of Northern Luzon is moderate to strong northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
