Easterlies to affect most parts of PH

Cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail in most parts of the country due to the easterlies, state weather bureau PAGASA said Tuesday afternoon.

According to PAGASA's 24-hour weather forecast, the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao Region.

The Northeast Monsoon will cause cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:06 a.m. on Wednesday.  —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
