Cloudy skies, scattered rain in most parts of PH on Holy Monday —PAGASA
Scattered or isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms are likely to affect most of the country on Holy Monday due to the easterlies, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies are affecting Eastern Visayas and CARAGA.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, are likely to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during periods of heavy rain or severe thunderstorm.
The weather bureau also said the northern and eastern sections of the country will have moderate to strong winds blowing east to southeast. Coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
On the other hand, the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds blowing east to northeast. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
PAGASA also said maximum temperature for the day is expected to be at 34.5 °C at 2 p.m.
Sunrise will be at 5:57 a.m. and sunset 6:08 p.m. —KBK, GMA Integrated News
