Ridge of HPA to extend over eastern Luzon as warm weather continues

The ridge of a High Pressure Area (HPA) will extend over the eastern part of Luzon, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. There is the possibility of localized thunderstorms that may cause flooding and landslides, according to the weather bureau in its 4pm weather bulletin on Thursday.

The country will be experiencing light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

PAGASA on Thursday said nearly all areas across the Philippines have been experiencing way below normal rainfall this April.

Temperature was recorded at 35.1 °C at the Science Garden in Quezon City at 4 p.m.
