ITCZ, easterlies continue to bring rains over Mindanao
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies may bring cloudy skies and rain showers over several different parts of Mindanao.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday, the ITCZ may cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over South Cotabato, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
The rest of the country will be experiencing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods and landslides may occur in different areas of the country as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be expected all over the Philippines.
