ITCZ, easterlies to bring rains in parts of PH
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies will bring rainy skies all over the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, and Zamboanga Peninsula may have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will also be felt over the rest of the country due to the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods and landslides may occur in several areas due to the said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be experienced in different parts of the Philippines.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:34 a.m. on Wednesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VAL, GMA Integrated News
